After uploading all of our footage we realised that the lighting for the performance in the Cellar Bar was poor and has made our footage look grainy. The problem we had was that the Cellar Bar is underground and there is no natural light in the room. We struggled to get the right lighting all day and this shows in the quality of our footage.
All this means that we will have to re-shoot the performance for the music promo. We are going to do this in the school drama studio as we will have more control over the lighting and this means the footage will be noticeably better quality than the shots from the Cellar Bar. The re-shoot will take place over two evenings instead of the half day we had at the Cellar Bar. This should mean that we get all the shots we feel we need and give us time to get the lighting right.
